Okay but they did that in Doctor Who and everybody became utter junkies and it practically destroyed the civilisation.

No but seriously Doctor Who did an episode on why this is a terrible idea and showed how it was able to destroy the world in like 15 minutes. Can we not.
Also the show Alice was about this…not a good idea at all
